Brady may no longer be with us in body, but his love continues to guide us. His light still shines through every life we touch.

The Brady Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Brady Steuerwald, a joyful, faith-filled boy who left a mark on everyone he met. Brady was only 13 years old when he passed away from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but in that short time, he lived with more love, light, and laughter than most do in a lifetime.

Brady was the kind of kid who remembered your name, made you laugh, and made you feel like you mattered. A devoted follower of Jesus, Brady’s faith wasn’t just something he believed — it was something he lived. He was the kid singing in the back seat, wowing you with his math skills, and making strangers feel like lifelong friends. He brought joy into every space he entered.

Some of his favorite things were roller coasters, water slides, geocaching with family, sporting events, concerts, YouTube, riding his bike, and cracking jokes. He was a math whiz with a big heart and an even bigger laugh.

Brady’s story isn’t defined by illness. It’s defined by joy. And that’s exactly what The Brady Foundation exists to carry forward.

Our mission is to reflect Brady's light by serving families with children in the ICU, supporting kids through faith-based experiences, and empowering students through scholarships — all with the same love, energy, and kindness that Brady shared so freely.

Every act of giving, every family helped, every child sent to camp or student given a scholarship — it all carries Brady’s legacy forward.
